Welcome to the home of the 2011 Canadian Ultimate Championships!
Canada is one of the top ranked countries in international ultimate competition -- at the 2011 Canadian Ultimate Championships our best teams ran faster, jumped higher, threw longer and played harder as they competed to represent Canada at the next world championships held in Sakai, Japan, from 7 to 14 July 2012.
Our vision was that every participant at the 2011 Canadian Ultimate Championships, whether player, volunteer or spectator, would leave the event feeling it was one of, if not the best ultimate tournament they have attended. Did we succeed? Let us know.

CUC may be over, but there's still a lot to do!
We wanted to let you know that we are working on bringing you the following: 1. More detailed results: We do have a record of all of the goals and assists and we are committed to making that information available. Please be patient, we have over 300 games worth of records to process!
2. Photos: We had quite a few official CUC volunteer photographers who each took thousands of shots. We will be posting the links to each of their portfolios in the next day or so.
Below are the ones we have already. Want your CUC2011 photos to be linked to on our site? Let us know. Also, we would like to ask everyone to fill out our feedback form. We'd really love to hear all of your thoughts on this year's CUC. Please let everyone know that the form is up and encourage your teammates, co-volunteers, etc to fill it out!

CUC 2011 has turned out to be a hugely popular tournament. This is great for Ultimate but it makes parking at UPI a challenge. We expect a particularly high volume of cars on Saturday. To solve this issue, the organizing committee has added another satellite parking spot for spectators, volunteers, and players to use on Saturday. The new parking lot is at Rideau Carleton Raceway at 4837 Albion Road. A shuttle will carry people from Rideau Carleton Raceway to the fields at UPI.
The parking lot at UPI is still available to cars with parking passes (please remember your pass!). Cars without passes may park at St. Mark High School (1040 Dozois Road) or at Rideau Carleton Raceway and take a short shuttle ride to UPI. As always, please try to car pool and encourage any spectators who may be coming out to do the same.
Players staying downtown are encouraged to leave their cars behind and take the shuttle directly from either the Marriot Hotel or Ottawa University. Downtown shuttles begin at 6:30am. Shuttles for Juniors players are also available from Algonquin College. |

As if CUC 2011 isn't reason enough to love Ottawa, there are also tonnes of great things to do when you are not playing. As Canada's capital, Ottawa is full of great museums, art galleries, and other windows into history. However, we also know how to kick back and relax with drinks on the patio and restaurants to satisfy any culinary desire (and you get discounts at a bunch of them! There is so much to do in Ottawa that we can't list it all here but we did put together our top five things to do while you're not playing. For more about what to do in Ottawa, you can also check out Ottawa Tourism’s website. |
